About Venge.io
Venge.io is a tight, objective-based tactical shooter that runs flawlessly in the browser. Unlike many other web shooters that rely on chaotic free-for-all deathmatches, Venge requires map control, positioning, and teamwork. You select a hero—each with unique abilities and movement mechanics—and fight to control capture points on the map to earn ability cards. The gunplay is incredibly crisp, with hit registration that rivals native desktop applications. The time-to-kill (TTK) is quite short, meaning positioning is everything. I particularly love playing as Lilium, using her bounce pads to access unexpected angles and rain down fire from above. The developers have squeezed an impressive amount of graphical fidelity into a very lightweight WebGL package.
How to Play
WASD for movement, Mouse to aim and shoot. Press E to use your melee attack and F to throw a grenade or use your character's special ability. Capture the glowing green areas on the map to upgrade your loadout during the match.
